What have I been doing lately?

One fine day, I sat down on my cozy sofa and a thought came to my mind. I think to my myself, "What have I been doing lately?" The answer was easy, N o t h i n g ..

Besides eating, sleeping, watching tv, facebooking, disturbing my little sis for the whole past week, I can't seem to be thinking of anything spectacular. Well, perhaps it is time to utilise my precious 3 month.

List
1) I'm extending my TAWG (Time alone with God)

2) Brushing up my cooking skills from Shifu (my dad). Not forgetting, making some mess in the kitchen with flour and cocoa . Dad said, "Cakie was good, I mean not bad for a first-timer". Grateful for having my sister as the assistant chef and the 'glutton' who finishes my cake. ;)

Disclaimer: The above picture is merely an illustration and doesn't represent my cakie.

3) Being doing some spring cleaning for the approaching Christmas. Another way, to make my mum smile when she sees that sparkling floor and the dust-free cupboard.

4) Still searching for that 'spark' and calling for my career path.

5) Facebooking, social networking is extremely crucial these days.

6)

To be continued =P

S T Y L O Fashion Marquee 2009

STYLO was back in action for the year 2009, introducing a new world of fashion featuring talented local designers and designers abroad like Maria Lafuente, Angel Schlesser and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.

Some capturings of the night.

Agatha added some colours to the runway with her creative and unusual colour-pallette fashion masterpiece. Could this be the fashion outfit for the future?? Interesting huh..

Really enjoyed the spectacle of fashion. Literally, you can hear the photographer's camera clicking and flashing all night accompanied by the sound of applause. It has been a great experience being a crew there with a bunch of 'fashion-enthusiasts' friends.

I have a BIG God =)

In times of difficulties,
Don't ever say,
"God, I have a BIG problem",
but instead
"Hey problem, I have a BIG God."
and Everything will be allright.

Exam is finally over! Weee...

Dashed out from the exam hall, my heart leaped for joy, finally it's over! Last exam paper for the final semester.. A flashback feeling of relief when SPM was over last two years.. (Gosh, I give hint on my age). We went to our usual hiding place, Neway. My battery was charged in full mode to sing my hearts out, ultimately to celebrate our 'independence day' for completing exam.

Reached home about 4 pm, my energy battery was running flat. From far, I pictured my personal exit from reality. I ran towards my favourite spot of the house, my haven.

Have a guess of that spot??

It's my BED.

The sight of my light purple, blue and pink bed sheet tuned down the traffic jam in my mind. I crawled to my bed, grabbed my bolster and grinned to myself and murmured
"Haha, I simply just love to sleep".

Down memory lane

Life is like a book. With different chapters, exhilarating climax and perhaps a fairy-tale ending or just an emotional one. As one chapter concludes, the other chapter awaits for an adventure.

As I gazed back to the day when I first step into college, innocent one carrying books to the classroom. How time flies. Is as though I have just enrolled yesterday, while I'm right now in my final semester. At times, I wondered who is that girl on the mirror staring straight at me? Life in KL definitely open the window of my eyes and time and experience has widened my perception on life.

Down memory lane
I remembered the times we struggled through midnight to complete our assignments. There stood the faithful cup of coffee accompanying us till dawn. How we survived with our panda eyes for not sleeping 4 days.

I remembered how we celebrated our victory for battling with our projects. We screamed our hearts out into the microphone in Neway. Badminton court has being our place to sweat our stress out.

I remembered how we shopped till we drop during our Langkawi trip.

I remembered how we supported and cheered for each other during presentation.

I remembered how we dried each other tears during our darkest nightmares.

I remembered the sound of laughter and the smile on your faces for the lame jokes we made.

As we go on, we remember,
All the times we had together,
As our lives change,
Come whatever,
We will still be,
Friends forever.

CIMB Malaysian Open Squash 2009 at The Curve

News buzzing around across the nation about the victory of our very own Nicol David, world No. 1 squash player. I'm glad I finally get to witness her awesomeness when I tagged along with my cousin to the Curve last Saturday.

Seriously watching live on television and watching live as an audience isn't the same at all. You can hear the crowd cheering each time Nicol scored her point. You can feel the adrenaline rush in your body. You can hear your heart pumping to the beat of the drum. Totally amazing, especially when the world champion is your fellow man.

Nicol was an outstanding player, her energy, her enthusiasm and her passion for her dream was visible as you watched her competing with Walters.

I have observed despite the colour of our skin, our background, our race and religion, the entire spectators from level 2 to the ground floor are cheering for one, Malaysia. I had goosebumps and chills during those special moments, as I stood there, gazing at Malaysians beaming with pride and cheering for our player when Nicol reigns as the Champ in the Malaysian Open Squash. That split minutes have unite our cultural differences together and bind our hearts as 1Malaysia.

PS: Regretted for not taking along my camera.. Would have taken a picture with Nicol..
